GREEN CHALLENGE
Kermit says...'It's not easy being GREEN'...but we know better...so for the 1st challenge from the sisters at S2G, we want you to embrace...
Being GREEN.
We are supplying you with a template for a small button box...
7 1/2"w x 8"h (rt click and save to desk top or print out)
All you have to do is come up with an idea that embraces...GREEN.
GREEN can be anything from the environment, to the color,
to St. Paddy's Day, to the renewing and rebirth that Spring brings us.
This small box could hold, candy, seeds, mini-hearts, shamrocks,
a special gift card,or even money (our favorite shade of GREEN...lol).
We want you to dig deep and use your imagination to come up with
something really unique and GREEN.
Naturally, we would love you to use our stamps, but because we are so new,
and not everyone has had a chance to buy one of our stamps...you can use any
stamp you already have. (But you do have time to get one from us and
still make the deadline.)
The deadline for submitting the pieces is...
2/22. at 2:00p.m.(pst).
We will post the finished pieces on our GALLERY page and our GALLEY on SCS.
The top 3 designs that really 'embrace' the GREEN theme will receive a $22.00
credit with S2G...and of course be featured in our BLOG and possibly win a chance at being
a Guest Designer.
Ready...Set...go GREEN!

what a challenging challenge this turned out to be. Who'd have thought covering a little box could evoke such naughty words - lol. Anyway I now know this is not a skill I posess but it was fun trying. The saving grace was the cute caterpilar. Here is my attempt http://li-marie.blogspot.com/search/label/ladies%20with%20attitude
ReplyDeleteHi This challenge was really fun!! The box was a little short for the seed packages but folding the bottoms of the packages worked like a charm!! Here is my result.. http://stampinonthecoast.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteHere's a peak at my first creation. I"m not done but thought that I would share. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1236062?cat=500&ppuser=87587

What a fun Challenge! It seemed the green just called out for the darling Mermaid stamp and a string of pearls I've been trying to figure out how to package. Oh yeah, the pearls go in the little box envelope. Figured I'd better mention that as they aren't IN the box in the picture.. oops!
ReplyDeleteMy submission is posted on my blog.
