We wanted to let you know that as of January 1, 2010... 'Shirleys2Girls Clear Stamps'...is changing things up a bit!
S2G are us!!...Deidre & Kristine! We create, package, invoice, & ship everything S2G... in other words do it ALL...and it's pretty much become everyday including weekends!
As most of you know...Kristine and I (Deidre) are sisters,who not only work together, but live together, with Kristine's husband... and our 89 year old father.Our original reason...for all living together started about 4 years ago, when Daddy had some pretty bad health issues and we needed to be available 24/7.Thankfully, his health has been pretty darn good for the past few years...but....hehas been having a few issues and at his cardiology appointment 2 weeks ago, we got some... 'not-so-great' news.With his health and our full-time commitment to S2G...we have decided...something had to give. We want to spend more time with him, as we are not only his caregivers, but his only family...we are looking to the future,and family comes first.That all being said...It is now time to make some changes to our everyday lives and to S2G. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the 'stamping' business, so the option of S2G closing up shop is...NOTan option. Last week we had one of our better "AHA" moments..."What if Shirleys2Girls went ALL Digital??" We would still be able to create new and whimsical ''digital stamps"...sell them on line...but have NO, packaging, shipping or invoicing. In the process, we would have more family time...AND...YOU...save..money, storage and time waiting for a stamp to arrive.
SO...That's it! Our new direction for 2010...Shirley's2Girls...is going... 'SIMPLY DIGITAL'
This switch from 'CLEAR STAMPS' to DIGITALS...let's YOU take advantage S2G's CHANGES!

Please give a warm hello to ANNE our newest addition to the S2G 'Ladies With Attitude' Design Team. If her name sounds a bit familiar, it's because she has participated in several S2G TT Challenges and we have grown to EXPECT her 'sunny, quirky, english' view of things! Anne resides across the sea...in England and has been married to Geoff for 20 years and they have 2 wonderful teenage boys. Annes husband who 'ties-flys' for his fishing hobby...fully understands Annes passion when it comes to her stamps, papers & inks. We're awfully glad Anne has such a supportive DH! They also have some hairy 4 legged famiy members...one is a retired greyhound, another is an evil terrier and the last 2 are horses. When she isn't crafting or quilting...Anne, loves to read, go jump racing & cook...but more than anything loves to play with paper and ink! She got her first S2G stamp when a friend went to Boston before Christmas....she has been hooked ever since. Aren't we lucky to get to have her as a Guest DT Member for the next couple of months. Well...it's FALL here! Wow...is it a gorgeous day. We're busy getting our 'turkeys' in a row! lolWe're gonna have a BLOG HOP with some Thanksgiving images...and we're gonna be giving away some 'turkeys'. Right now we're working on some exciting little 'packages' for Christmas! While we were out shopping the other day...something we saw sparked an idea in us and we couldn't wait to get back to the studio and start creating! It will be a little package that has, papers, stamps, & embellishments in it! One of our favorite times is Christmas...so designing more stamps, papers, & projects won't be hard for us! I'm also working on designs that will be like our little 'SPOOKIES' that we did for Halloween...only with Christmas images in them. They are gonna be so cute, I know you'll have to have them ALL!

What's with the leaves? Well I think that is dear ole Mother Nature telling us the Summer is coming to a close or getting very near. We have been working very hard designing More Halloween images...We think you'll scream over them! We also have some exciting NEW digital images for you 'digi nuts'. The images run the gamut from apples to pumpkins... (3 -4x6 pages of illustrations for the months of Sept, Oct, & Nov.) this is our open sign for S2G...nice to come 'home' too!S2G is back HOME!!! We're so fired up about the future of our 'little' stamp company! The feed-back from CHA has been fantastic! It seems S2G is on to something? We truely do offer the industry something NEW & EXCITING!!! We were told over & over that 'there is nothing' like our images out there in the Stamp Market...& that they LOVE them & the BIG spaces that we offer stampers/papercrafters to work with! We couldn't be more thrilled...I tell ya! Currently we're getting new orders out & shipped...but...our minds our spinning out of control with the possibilities of NEW images/stamps...so I will just let you know that you are gonna LOVE Halloween...(we did show 4 of them at CHA) and now I am gonna get busy & create the rest of the collection... : ))) have a faubulous week & stay COOL! Wow!! This has been such a fun week of Sneak Peeks at Shirley's 2 Girls!! Thank you all for the wonderful comments that you left on the DT blogs this week - your kind words and enthusiasm mean the world to us!! The Sisters had a fabulously successful trip to CHA, and are so excited for what the next several months bring for them in terms of their business!! Talk about Peaple that are...Friendly, Generous, Creative, Fun, & they are ready for this NEW COMPANY to join the ranks of other stamp companies ...& we are thrilled!
S2G is EXCITED, THRILLED, & Filled with re-newed creative energy...we can't wait to get back to the S2G Studio and 'brainstorm' & design LOTS of NEW & WONDERFUL things for you all to see...
