Counting sheep...
Just thought I would share with all of you...a stamp that one of our DT did...we call her...
Sheep & friend...# 606G...
Karolyn Loncon did some magic with our sweet little sheep...she ran some 1/8" strips thru her xyron and rolled them into spirals, then she paper pieced the little hill-top that she's standing on, and popped out her face, and the little blue bird friend... on dimensionals. Then she added the much needed BLING!

oh my gawd...this is a hoot! You are all tres, tres chic! Kristine & I are so impressed...not only can the DT 'create'...they can work there way around a computer!!! We need help with those 'technical things'...but as a long, gone, great woman comedian once said..."a woman must pick a room in the house to be fabulous in"...and with us, it is NOT the one with the desk and computer...LOL! Are you thinking that we meant something other than the 'art studio'?

Girls, Girls, Girls...anyway, I digress...thankyou, thankyou for all being so on top of things!

It was very, very hard to choose our team...

we really would like to have all of you!

There are 'too many' of you out there with such great talent,

you made our choice very 'difficult'.

Choose though we must!

So after a lot of diet coke...a lot of 'non-diet' chocolate...

our '5' team members...grew to '9'...

Shirleys2Girls is looking for our
'FIRST' design team... to be known as the ...

'LADIES WITH ATTITUDE' !

We are a new clear art stamp company and are on our BIG search
for a fabulous Design Team, that will help us promote Shirleys2Girls
thru all of your Blogs and personal Galleries.
We are looking for unique, irreverent, and special members
who are going to be very excited about being part of the
stamping world thru 'Shirleys2Girls'... and designers who also want to be part of our 'sister' team, one that is going to be a blast and very rewarding.
APPLICATIONS:
Due by Thursday, January 22, 2009...and we will announce the new DT here on our blog Saturday, January 25th. We will be choosing 5 'LWA' members...to start our team.
TO APPLY:
Email us good-quality digital images of at least 4 cards, scrapbook pages or other projects
that you feel are your 'bestest' ATTITUDE stuff. Email these to: thegirls@shirleys2girls.com.
Please put 'Attitude' in the subject line. Please include information about other DT's you are one or have been on. Tell us a little bit about yourself and why you would like to be a LWA team member. Don't forget to include your Blog Address and where you are doing all your fabulous papercrafting!!!
OUR EXPECTATIONS:
Members will have a 6 month commitment. February 1-August 1, 2009.
We will require each member to create 2 pieces per month using S2G Stamps (provided) as the focal point of each piece. These can be cards, scrapbook pages, or any other creative projects you can think of!! As you finish each project, email us an image that we can include on our website. We will ask for some or all of your originals as we need them...to be used in trade shows or workshops. Members will need to post good quality images to their Blogs, on-line Galleries, and any message boards. We also encourage submitting to magazines, and generally giving great 'ATTITUDE' about S2G wherever you can... Any project using S2G Stamps must give credit to our company, with our name prominently displayed.
YOUR EXPECTATIONS:
Compensation will be a $20 'Attitude Gratitude' credit per month with S2G, and 20% off of any other S2G purchases.
If any of your pieces using S2G stamps is published (scrapbooking mags, or rubber stamp pubs, etc) you will receive $25 for each publication, provided our company has been credited in the supplies/instruction list. Just email us a copy of the published article and we will send you your Attitude Gratitude CASH!!!

Winter Wonderland...

there's no walking or driving in this winter wonderland...so looks like tomorrow will be another full day in the studio...no errands, nothing but good old creative fun!

Can you say WHITE -OUT ?

Hello to All!

Went out to breakfast this morning and then made a quick dash to the store, to stock-up on necessities, (chocolate, potato chips, and more chocolate!) It looks like we're going to be snowed in for a couple of days! A girl needs her sweet-tooth satisfied in order to get her 'creative juices' going!

We decided to put our 'paper crafting' skills to the test...I've got our mouse dancing stamp...# H7-E)...gathered LOTS of paper in Reds and Greens, colored pencils, some felt markers, buttons, ribbons...

and I put on some nice classical music and started creating!

Hmmm...about 2 hours later I have my CARD!

I am letting you know that this is not my forte, I am a designer/artist, BUT, not paper crafting artist...this is not easy for me. I hope you like what I did...and please if you get one of our stamps, SEND us what you have done, we NEED you input! We WELCOME IT!

SNOW...SNOW...SNOW...

let it snow!
well, we have been snowed in for 5 days and have baked and baked and iced and iced some more...and of course the most important part, we HAD to do the TASTE test! 3 years ago we tried baking christmas cookies for friends, but that didn't work out so well, okay, okay to be honest it was a royal FLOP! But low and behold this year we did it...everything from 'coffee shop fudge' to sugar cookies...WOW!

We are now back in the studio designing our new line of 'Months' stamps...we will share some of the 'NEW DESIGNS' on the next blog...
